2019 Scottish Woman’s Amateur Championship and Scottish Girl’s Amateur Championship

Scottish Golf are keen to encourage entries to the above events.

The Woman’s Championship is to be played at Kilmarnock Barassie from 28th-30th June

The Girl’s Championship is to be played at Blairgowrie ( Rosemount) from 19th 21st July

West Vets Summer Meeting & Championship Qualifier

Congratulations to Janet Buchanan and Barbara Cunningham who both qualified for the Handicap Championship.  Janet also won the ‘Super’ Vets section.  Well done ladies. 👍

Lorna Wins County Championship

Lorna McClymont continued her successful start to the season by winning the D and A County Championship.  In a final played in glorious weather she defeated Laura McGeachy 3 and 2. The Bronze Championship was won by Kath Brown and the Handicap Championship was won by Mandy Allan. Sophie Murphy won the Helen McGregor Quaich.

Championship Finals

The Finals of the 2019 County Championship, will be played tomorrow at Balmore Golf Club, starting with the Bronze Championship at 9.00am.  Spectators are welcome. Details of the the players and draw are in County Championship 2019.

Congratulations Lorna


Lorna McClymont won the woman’s event in The R & A Foundation Scholars Tournament in St. Andrews. Sharing the overnight lead with Chloe Goadby, Lorna won at the second extra hole of a playoff.. In the biggest win of her career Lorna achieves an automatic spot in the team to face the United States in the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup match to be played at Alotian, Arkansas in June
